About Us
When Raymond Beck drilled the Yurgen #1 well in Ravenna, Ohio in 1978, it marked the beginning of Beck Energy and more than 30 years of exploring, drilling and producing throughout the Appalachian Basin. Since that time, our company has completed more than 300 wells throughout 11 Ohio counties.
Beck Energy is proud to be a local company that employees local people and continues to work with Ohio landowners to help develop their mineral rights. Each month, our company sends royalty checks to over 600 landowners as well as providing free natural gas to homeowners on properties where wells are located.
Our company has experience operating under Senate Bill 165, which permits the exploration and drilling of wells within urban areas. We currently have wells on golf courses, churches and within city limits of many Ohio communities. Some of our recent wells are located in Cuyahoga Falls, Ravenna and Munroe Falls.
